Net5 repositions itself with new look

Dutch broadcaster Net5 has undergone a creative rebranding and shed its image as a female-skewing channel.

The station, which is owned by Europe’s second largest broadcast group ProSiebenSat1 Media, hired UK design agency Dunning Eley Jones to come up with a series of new graphics and interstitials.

Project manager Liz Dunning says that Net5 wanted a design that would rid it of its niche status and highlight the fact that it had hit programming such as Lost and Grey’s Anatomy. "They wanted the branding to widen the appeal," she adds. The rebrand launched in late August across the channel and its online extensions.
