MacFarlane shorts debut next month

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will launch his web comedy series Seth Macfarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy next month and has struck a landmark deal advertiser Burger King.

The series, which is produced by MacFarlane and producer Media Rights Capital, will bow in September via Google using its AdSense network. Burger King has signed up as a sponsor to run a series of pre-roll adverts across the series and MacFarlane has agreed to create the ads.

MacFarlane, who also created American Dad and Fox’s new Family Guy spin off The Cleveland Show, has animated three adverts for the fast food company.

Some 50 original shorts are expected to launch across the web and a YouTube channel has also been created.
