BabyFirst, the baby and parent focused channel backed by Fox, is launching an in-house production unit that will produce shows for the international preschool market.
BFTV Productions will be headed by Arik Kerman, senior VP of programming for BabyFirst. It will have two new shows for MIPCOM Junior.
The first is 5x26mins non-dialogue series The Greenies. The second is 3x39mins Hello Around the World, which teaches kids to say hello in different languages.
BabyFirst’s TV channel is carried in the US and UK among other territories and BabyFirst produces almost all of the content in-house, producing up to three series a month for the network.
