UK indie production and distribution group All3Media has shut Time2Talk, part of its German operation MME Moviement. The German producer will cease to exist as a standalone entity with about 30 jobs understood to be affected.
All3Media said that Time2Talk is being absorbed into MME in the current harsh economic environment. MME Moviement will continue to work with Vera Int-Veen, the talkshow host and Time2Talk founder, on an exclusive basis. The Potsdam-based producer specialised in talk show and docu-soap formats.
As well as Time2Talk, MME Moviement has several other subsidiaries. The group comprises AllMedia Pictures, Filmpool, Lunet Entertainment and White Balance, producing for all of Germany’s major broadcasters.
It had already announced that CEO Martin Hoffmann will leave the company next year to join the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. All3Media acquired MME Moviement in 2007.
