ShineReveille restructures, rebrands, inks deals

ShineReveille International has undergone a corporate restructure that will see ShineReveille International and Metronome Film & Television’s distribution arm Friday TV combined into a single operation that will be branded Shine International.

The company has also picked up international distribution rights to five series including Virgin1’s reality series The Naked Office and Tour de France documentary Blood, Sweat and Gears.

The company has been restructured following the acquisition of Metronone Film & Television earlier this year and a number of employees have been promoted as a result; John Pollack becomes EVP, Shine International and Matt Vassallo becomes VP, Latin America. Metronome’s head of sales Estelle Boden becomes managing director, Friday TV. Chris Grant remains president of the company.

Subsequently the distributor has picked up international rights to a raft of new series ahead of Mipcom. It has acquired Blood, Sweat and Gears, a documentary produced by Nick Davis Productions about a group of cyclists attempting to enter the Tour de France without corporate sponsorship that aired on the Sundance Channel; Adopted, a comedy produced by Hunta Films and Landing Patch Productions that follows Pauly Shore’s attempts to adopt a child in Africa; Live From The Artist’s Den, a music series for PBS; Terry Cloth-produced I Can’t Believe I’m Still Single, a romantic reality series about Eric Shaeffer who uses his myspace page to find love; Underdog to Wonderdog, a Sharp Entertainment produced series for Animal Planet about a group of rescued puppies and The Naked Office, the Shine produced reality format for free-to-air digital net Virgin1 that follows businesses that need help by making staff go to work naked.
