Australian commercial broadcaster Seven Network is to produce a local version of History’s hit fact-ent series Pawn Stars.
The network has acquired the local format rights to the series, which follows a family run pawn shop in Las Vegas.
This comes as Seven struck a deal to license four AETN International series including the US version of Pawn Stars.
It will launch WWII Lost Films, which was originally produced by Lou Reda Productions, Flight 33 Productions’ Life After People, Hybrid Films’ Parking Wars and Leftfield Pictures’ Pawn Stars.
Seven struck the programming deal with local pay TV operator Foxtel, which represents programme sales for AETN in Australia and New Zealand.
