TLC is launching in Russia later this month and has also inked a distribution deal in Romania.
The Discovery-owned, female skewing channel is launching in Russia on January 14 and Romania on January 20 and has also extended its distribution arrangement in Sweden.
The Russian version of TLC will carry local programming including a new makeover show Like Mother, Like Daughter, produced by Moscow-based Mastiff, as well as a raft of US series including American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, Kate Plus 8 and Toddlers & Tiaras.
The channel launched internationally in Norway in March and is on course to reach 75 markets and 100 million households by the end of this year following recent launches in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Poland and Bulgaria.
