Red Arrow Entertainment’s Snowman productions has put together an executive team for its move into the Norwegian TV market.
Snowman has hired Peter Blanck as managing director of its Norwegian unit and he joins from pay TV broadcaster Viasat.
Magnus Vatn joins from Nordisk Film and will be creative director.
Kristoffer Reinsfelt Arnesen will be head of entertainment having most recently worked at Monster Entertainment.
Blanck said: “We are delighted to be building the Snowman network in Norway. With access to hit international formats, alongside a strong focus on own developed content, I am confident that we will be perceived as a fresh breeze to the Norwegian TV production industry.”
Pontus Gårdinger, Nordic CEO Snowman Productions, said: “Since Snowman was launched little more than a year ago, our clear ambition has been to gain a foothold across all Scandinavian markets. The launch of Snowman Norway is a key part of the puzzle and I couldn´t be happier.”
Red Arrow is the company that houses the international production and distribution companies owned by German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1, has been expanding rapidly since its creation in early 2010. It now has fourteen production companies across nine territories.
