French distributor Europe Images has acquired global rights to a new Canal+ comedy series.
The Lagardere Entertainment-owned company has picked up the distribution rights to Bref (So), a shortform comedy series that airs on the French pay TV platform.
The series, which is produced by French indie My Box Productions, follows a 30 year old man, played by Kyan Khojandi, as he faces the ordinary grind of life.
Bref has seen audiences of over 2.5 million on Canal+ as well as over 1 million online views per day.
This comes a few weeks after Europe Images International revamped its international sales team under the new management of managing director Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet.
