Heaney’s TCB strikes deal with Argonon

Paul Heaney’s new company TCB Media Rights has struck its first deal, closing an arrangement with Argonon International.

TCB Media Rights will work with Argonon International, the global arm of the company that houses producers Leopard Films and Remedy Production, on rights retention, intellectual property development and global content sales.

Former Cineflix boss Heaney will also work with the company on pre-sales across its different production arms.

Heaney said: “This is TCB Media Rights first client and therefore an important one to work with in its growth and success. Argonon is a smart business, containing highly creative divisions with impressive talent. I look forward to working closely with both the creative and commercial teams at Argonon.”

Argonon CEO James Burstall added: “We are striving to create a world class centre of excellence by partnering with the industry’s most talented companies and individuals. Paul’s unparalleled track record in identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities across international markets makes TCB Media Rights an ideal fit to help support Argonon’s growth ambitions. His extensive experience of the North American market will be a key asset for the group as we seek creative synergy across our London, New York, LA, and Vancouver production outfits.”
