Scripps Networks Interactive’s Food Network channel has launched on Polish pay TV platform Cyfrowy Polsat.
Branded Polsat Food Network, the channel is be available to all of Polsat’s subscribers via the basic tier package. Series including Barefoot Contessa, Diners, Drive Ins and Drives, Everyday Italian, Unwrapped and Food Network Challenge will air in Polish and English.
“Poland is a key territory integral to Food Network’s expansion across central and eastern Europe,” said Jon Sichel, managing director of Scripps Networks Interactive EMEA. “We are thrilled that this launch will greatly increase our footprint in the region and look forward to working with Cyfrowy Polsat to ensure Food Network’s success.”
Food Network has launched or expanded in Latvia, Georgia, Romania, Serbia and Cyprus in recent months.
