Entertainment One has sold its hit preschool series Peppa Pig into South Korea.
EBS has picked up the animated series and it will debut on the free-to-air broadcaster later this month.
eOne said it has appointed Daniela Flower as dedicated territory manager to oversee sales and development of its properties in South Korea.
It has also appointed Cocoban as the licensing agent for Peppa in South Korea and a line of branded merchandise will roll out before Christmas.
Olivier Dumont, managing director of Entertainment One Family said: “Asia is a key strategic market for Peppa and Daniela’s impressive network of contacts will help us make inroads there that will take the brand to the next level.”
