Producer and distributor Breakthrough Entertainment has finalised programming deals with several broadcasters in the Central and Eastern Europe region ahead of the NATPE programming market in Budapest next week.
In Poland pay TV operartor Canal+ Cyfrowy has acquired four-part doc The Sacred Balance, based on the eponymous book. Polsat has bought My Really Cool Leg, about a team of amputees, and Hollywood’s 10 Best.
Czech pubcaster CT has picked up and preschool show Kinderzoo and four part doc One Ocean. Also in the Czech Republic, free-to-air broadcaster Prima has taken documentary series Edge of War.
In Croatia, RTL has acquired four seasons of lifestyle series David Rocco’s Dolce Vita.
“The terrific support we’ve received throughout Eastern Europe is a great start as we prepare for NATPE East,” said Nat Abraham, president of distribution.
