Beyond cuts US programming deals

highwaythruhellBeyond Distribution has sealed a programming deal with Scripps Networks Interactive for content on two of its channels and a separate deal with another US cable network.

SNI’s Travel Channel has picked up culinary series BBQ Crawl, the RTR Media-produced series that follows a world champion BBQ competitor as she eats her way through the American south.

Scripps channel, HGTV, has picked up another season of Big Coat Productions’ property makeover series Love It or List It.

Separately, another US cable net, The Weather Channel, has bought the second series of Highway Thru Hell (pictured). Produced by Great Pacific Media for Discovery Canada, the series follows the efforts of workers to keep the treacherous Coquihalla Highway open in all conditions.
