NBCUniversal International will hit the Croisette with a new slate of formats, including NBC primetime series Hollywood Game Night.
The series (left), which comes from Hazy Mills Productions, Mission Control Media and NBCU-owned Universal Television, launched on NBC in July and has been commissioned for a second season. NBCU’s global arm will be shopping it in Cannes.
The format will sit alongside other shows launching at market such as The 21st Question, which is billed as a “tactical quiz format with a super-tense climax to every single show”. First Time Farmers is a structured reality format that follows the lives and loves of young farmers currently in production for a second season on UK net Channel 4.
Newlyweds was originally produced for NBCU-owned cable channel Bravo, while Knife Fight is billed as an “edgy culinary competition where talented chefs go head to head to prove who’s best”. It is set to launch on upcoming NBCU channel Esquire Network.
