MTV orders millennials series from Pulse

Kerry-TaylorMTV has commissioned Sleeping with the Family, a new series about young couples living with one set of their parents.

The hour-long doc series will focus on couples as they move in with one set of disapproving parents.

It will be made by indie producer Pulse and shot in the US. The eight-part series is in production and will go out on MTV channels around the world, excluding the US, from next spring.

Kerry Taylor (pictured), senior VP & general manager, Youth and Music for Viacom International Media Networks said, “With a compelling blend of drama, humour and heart, Sleeping with the Family is a perfect vehicle to explore one of the great dilemmas facing the financially challenged millennial generation – how to carry on a successful relationship while being forced to carry on living under your parents’ roof.”
