Under terms of the agreement, ZDF History content will remain on A+E channels in a Sunday night slot. ZDF programmers will remain in control of the block, which includes ZDF and A+E content.
ZDFE, German pubcaster ZDF’s commercial arm, will also continue as A+E content sales rep for German-speaking Europe, selling shows such as Modern Marvels, Biography and several history series.
History and Bio’s German feed will also continue acquire local content from the ZDFE content library.
