Belgium’s VMMa and Turkey’s Star TV have commissioned local formats, while Peru’s Frecuencia Latina has gone a step further and ordered two seasons. Furthermore, Endemol Russia has acquired local production rights.
The show, in which celebrities undertake show-stopping features and challenges, has now sold to territories including China, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Australia, Sweden and Norway.
The Peruvian deal marks the first time Israel-based Armoza has sold a format into the South American territory.
“I Can Do That! is a distinctive format that answers the need in the industry for a fresh and spectacular prime time show. It is the next generation of entertainment formats, combining celebrities with new and ever-changing, breath-taking talents,” said Armoza’s CEO Avi Armoza.
