Based on a German daytime format from Kabel Eins, Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal, French commercial broadcaster TF1 successfully piloted a local version of the show last month.
In the format, a group of local restaurants compete to be the best in the region. The French version will be called L´Addition, s´il vous plait and see four restaurants competing in each episode.
Red Arrow sells the format internationally and struck the French deal.
Tobias Schulze, Red Arrow’s senior sales manager, France said: “Cooking-based shows are on a high in France right now, making `L´Addition, s´il vous plait´ the ideal recipe for TF1.”
