WWE Network, which is a 24/7 streaming service, will be available to Amazon Fire TV users for US$9.99 a month. It is already distributed on Apple TV, Roku, Sony Playstation 3 and 4, iOS devices, Kindle Fire devices, desktops, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The channel offers live and scheduled WWE wrestling programming, pay-per-view events and a comprehensive VOD library of more than 2,000 hours of content. It has reportedly struggled, however, to attract subscribers since launch earlier this year. In April, the WWE claimed it on track to secure a million subs by the end of 2014.
Amazon Fire TV launched in the US in April as e-commercial giant Amazon’s new set-top box offering, allowing for easy access to VOS service Prime Instant Video, as well as services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus and YouTube.
