The format sees a pair of contestants allocated 300 seconds to answer eight questions and win US$1 million, the twist being they compete while a special mechanism gives them a physical ‘ride’ around the studio while they respond.
The format launches in Cannes, but Studio Glam claims it has already picked up broadcaster heat and scored presales.
“300 Sec. Ride is a game show that was developed by Studio Glam to suit the international market needs, and responds to the viewer needs, taking into consideration the diversity of audiences around the world,” said Studio Glam CEO Ami Glam.
Studio Glam is also launching factual entertainment format Like Share Please, which is for Israel’s Channel 8 and currently in production.
Each episode of the format sees a Facebook ‘share’ request from the moment it is published to the point where a solution is found.
Studio Glam’s The Extra Mile, which features divorcec couples on life-changing journeys, was picked up for development in numerous territories by Endemol at MIPTV. The original ran on Channel 10 in Israel, and the first international version, which Endemol Spain produced for Mediaset-owned Telecinco, came this summer.
