H&M doc sells to YLE, TVN

An investigative documentary looking at the practices of clothing retailer H&M has sold to broadcasters such as Finland’s YLE and Poland’s TVN.

H&MRTBS in French-speaking Belgium, Switzerland’s RTS and Swedish educational distributor Swedish Film AB have also acquired the 1x52mins The World According to H&M from distributor Java Films.

The doc comes from Premiere Lignes looks at the business practices of H&M, which the doc’s producers say sell around €15 billion (US$19 billion) in clothing each year.

Java has also sold China: A Corrupt Republique to SIC in Portugal, and Feminism Inshallah and Malala: A Girl from Paradise for another Portuguese channel, TVI.
