Movie and TV streaming service Wuaki.tv has launched in Italy, marking its fifth country launch to date.
Wuaki.tv CEO Jacinto Roca (left) said that the service “continues to grow exponentially” and is gaining “good acceptance” in Europe.
The firm, which is owned by Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten, closed 2014 with more than 2 million users in Europe, 400,000 of whom were in the UK.
Wuaki said that it experienced year-on-year growth of 85% during 2014.
