UK preschool channel CBeebies has commissioned a five-part series about farming featuring former boyband star JB Gill.
The presenters will visits various farms, with singer-turned-farmer Gill showing viewers around his own farm.
“CBeebies is dedicated to delighting and surprising its young audience, which is why it’s fantastic to be able to add JB and Storm to the CBeebies family, while educating our viewers about farming,” said CBeebies controller Kay Benbow (pictured).
“Down On The Farm will feed our viewers’ inquisitiveness about the origins of their food, and will hopefully inspire the next generation of farmers.”
The show debuts later this year, with BBC Worldwide likely to take international sales rights.
