Attenborough specials sell internationally

Conquest of the SkiesBritish prodco Atlantic has shopped several of its David Attenborough series to international broadcasters.

The UK indie has made several specials and series with the veteran naturalist and presenter, and has struck new deals for several of these projects.

French pubcaster France Télévisions has picked up animals-in-flight series David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies. The four-parter has also been bought by broadcasters including DR in Denmark, Servus in Austria and YLE in Finland.

VRT in Belgium, TVB in Hong Kong, PTS in Taiwan and RUV in Iceland have all acquired CGI dinosaur series Flying Monsters.

YLE Finland, RUV Iceland and VRT Belgium have also picked up two-parter David Attenborough’s Rise of the Animals: Triumph of the Vertebrates.

German OTT service Polyband has bought Kingdom of Plants and Galapagos.
