Eleven poaches Raw development exec

London-based prodco Eleven Film has hired Tom Pullen from rival UK firm Raw TV.

Tom PullenPullen (pictured) will trade his director and development executive post at Raw to become head of factual development at Eleven.

At Raw, he developed and directed a series, Teens, single doc The Missing and a “high-profile” upcoming Channel 4 doc feature.

Pullen has previously developed shows for Dragonfly, BBC Factual, Walker George Films and Maverick Television.

“I’m delighted to be joining Eleven at such an exciting time in the company’s rapid development. With their existing reputation for drama, fixed-rig and factual content and my track record in documentaries I hope we can soon deliver some truly exciting and innovative new programmes,” says Pullen.

“We searched high and low for the right person to head up our factual development team, and when we met Tom we knew we’d found the right person. He is an inspired filmmaker with a huge imagination and brilliant clarity of vision,” said Eleven’s co-founders Jamie Campbell and Joel Wilson.

Eleven is behind series such as Sky 1’s Enfield Haunting and My Breasts Could Kill Me and E4’s Glue, and is developing Nazareth, a drama series for Fox in the US that tells the story of a teenager Jesus.
