YouTube’s LatAm boss and the chief of the US arm of Mexican broadcast giant Azteca will give the keynote addresses at the MIP Cancun event later this year
Manuel Abud, president and CEO of Azteca America, and John Farrell, director of YouTube Latinoamérica will speak at the third edition of the Lat-Am focused programming market, which is run by Reed Midem, the organisation behind MIPTV and MIPCOM events in Cannes.
The third edition of the event has two new conference strands, a Creative Summit for producers and programming execs, and the Digital Minds Summit, for the digital chiefs at the region’s broadcasters.
“The launch of the Digital Minds Summit and the Creative Summit will give unprecedented insight into the future of TV in Latin America, and we are delighted to announce the participation of Manuel Abud and John Farrell as keynote speakers,” said Ted Baracos, Director of Market Development at Reed Midem.
MIP Cancun takes place in Cancun, Mexico from 16 to 18 November.
