Wildlife-focused on-demand service Love Nature has hired Anthony Jewitt as its first director of partnerships.
Operating out of Love Nature’s UK office, he will oversee distribution of the global Love Nature SVOD service and linear television efforts.
Jewitt (pictured) joins from Red Bull Media House, where he was director, affiliate sales and programming. In this post, he oversaw the global launch and distribution of Red Bull’s subscription linear service and programme sales in northern Europe.
Before Red Bull, Jewitt was an international sales director at Viacom and senior sales executive at BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the UK pubcaster.
He joins Love Nature at MIPCOM in October, where he will be pursuing affiliate sales and partnership opportunities.
“Anthony brings over a decade of experience in global content distribution and partnerships to his role as director, partnerships,” said Jo Parkinson, managing director, Love Nature International.
“By leading the charge with international affiliate relations and platform partnerships, Anthony will be a key player in Love Nature’s mission to bring our library of stunning 4K natural history content to wildlife and nature lovers across the globe.”
Love Nature is joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks. It launched as an SVOD service focused on wildlife, nature and awe-inspiring programming.
The service produces more than 200 hours of 4K programming annually, and is a distributed as a turnkey factual 4K channel.
