MGM has renewed the contract of Greg Robertson, meaning he will remain in charge of the US studio’s Asia Pacific office.
The deal was described as “multiyear”. Robertson will remain in Australia as managing director and senior VP, international television distribution, and continue to report to president, worldwide television distribution and acquisitions Chris Ottinger.
During his three years to date at MGM, he has overseen the strategic distribution operations in the Asia Pacific Rim. Scoring multiyear deals with TV networks and digital platforms.
“Throughout Greg’s tenure at MGM, he has expanded our international business in the region, closing some of the company’s most important deals,” said Ottinger. “Greg’s strategic approach and relationships with media platforms have been essential to MGM’s growth in Asia and we are very pleased that he will continue to lead our office.”
Before MGM, Robertson had spent 28 years with Warner Bros. International Television, where he held MD and SVP posts.
