Diaz’s 7A picks up SIC programming

Scripted-logo-460_2cesar diaz 7a mediaCésar Díaz’s 7A Media will sell SIC Television programming in Lat Am and the US Hispanic market after striking a distribution deal with the Portuguese free-to-air broadcaster.

SIC has been investing more in original production, notably in drama, and 7A will take its new telenovelas to market. New titles include Más que Amor (More than Love) and Reina de Flores (Frozen Memories).

João Pedro Nava, SIC’s director of distribution and sales said: “7A Media is exactly the type of company we were looking for knowing it will ensure that our programs and telenovelas will be marketed as we have envisioned in this very competitive part of the world”.

“We are eager to begin showing these top quality productions throughout the [Lat Am] region,” added Diaz, who left Venezuela’s Venevsion to set up 7A Media.
