Rive Gauche snags pair of true crime series

Factual-headerRive Gauche Television has picked up distribution rights to two of the UK AMC group’s original series: The Day I Should Have Died and Teens Who Kill.

The Day I Should Have Died uses re-enactments and witness testimony to retell stories of ordinary people faced with life-threatening circumstances such as a terror attack or a close call with a serial killer.

Teens Who Kill looks at cases where teenagers became murderers using child psychologists to understand what drove the teens to take lives.

Both shows are 10x60mins and were ordered by the UK arm of AMC Networks International for its CBS Reality channel.

The Day I Should Have Died is telling of the times we live in and provides the audience with stories that are so captivating it’s hard to look away,” said RGTV boss Jon Kramer. “As for Teens Who Kill, it adds yet another element to our crime library.”
