South Korean format Grandpas Over Flowers is being remade in Turkey for Show TV.
The series, which NBC has rebooted as Better Late Than Never in the US, has completed shooting in Turkey ahead of its debut on Show.
Bloom Media has overseen production after Show closed a deal with Sera Film, which represents programmes from the Small World IFT catalogue in Turkey.
Small World picked up rights to the show from creator CJ Entertainment & Media after its ratings in South Korea set records.
The warm-hearted format follows four veteran celebrities and a younger guide as they travel the world on a fish-out-of-water road trip.
There has also been a remake for RAI in Italy, which launched on May 22.
The Turkey version was shot in India, Nepal and Vietnam, and follows four female Turkish entertainment legends.
Sera general manager Idil Belli said it was “a rare occasion that an unscripted title is commissioned for primetime in Turkey” due to the popularity of long running dramas and telenovellas.
“It’s a great show for family audiences, and we know its light-hearted sense of fun and adventure will be a perfect fit for Turkish viewers,” said Belli.
